ABOUT OUR ACADEMY

Capoeira Angola is a non-aggressive traditional Brazilian circle game of African origins which has an amazing variety of interactive elements - it is played by a pair of contestants together inside a circle of participants.

Our Academy is served by highly trained instructors with extensive Capoeira experience who view their students not only as such, but as extended family members. Our students’ talents and abilities are fostered through patience and understanding, with a focus on disclipine and personal dedication to this beautiful Brazilian art.

This group was founded in november of 1979 by Mestre No. During that time this group was known as Grupo de Capoeira Angola Palmares da Bahia, today it is the Associacao Cultural Brazileira de Capoeira Angola Palmares.
